After giving a small break to the competition, Xiaomi is back into the budget game and released two new smartphones in India, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. These smartphones are true budget killers which offer very good specs for a decent price. Let us see why we call these as the new budget killers.
Redmi Note 7:
The Xiaomi Redmi note 7 sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ “Dot” notch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE Processor which has Up to 2.2GHz turbo speed, it is coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and has two RAM variants, 3GB and 4GB. Coming to storage, it has 32GB and 64GB storage options and can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. In the camera section, Redmi 7 has dual AI rear cameras with a 12MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it has a 13 MP selfie camera with many AI features enabled. All the required sensors are on board along with a rear placed fingerprint sensor. Having a 4000mAh battery, it comes with Quick charge 4 support. Redmi Note 7 Pro:
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ “dot” notch display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Soc coupled with an Adreno 612 GPU. It has 4GB/6GB of RAM options. Coming to storage, it has 64GB and 128GB storage options and can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Coming to Cameras, There is an AI dual camera setup on the back which holds a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 5MP secondary sensor. Yes, the sensor here is Sony IMX586 and can take pictures with true 48 megapixels, unlike the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor. On the front, it has a 13 MP selfie camera with many AI features.
