After the launch of Realme 2 (recently which we have thought as a successor to the Realme 1), Realme finally unveils the real successor to the Realme 1 as Realme 2 Pro. Along with the Realme 2 Pro, they have also launched an entry-level smartphone called as Realme C1.
Realme 2 Pro:
This device packs a lot of pro features and eye catchy design along with some great internals like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE and Adreno 512 GPU to handle all those graphics intense games (which should be a cakewalk because of that hardware combo). Realme has done a very good job in terms of Processor Upgradation. There are three variants of this new device considering memory and storage, 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB which are priced at Rs.13990, Rs.15,990 and Rs.17,990 respectively. I have to admit that Realme has gone past every other competitor with its aggressive pricing.
Realme 2 Pro is the first smartphone under 20k to have 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage along with that powerful chipset. Just WOW
The very first thing which drew our attention is the display on this device. Realme 2 Pro features a large 6.2-inch FHD+ notch display and the notch here has a Water Drop design which the company also calls as Dew Drop notch, holds a front camera, light and distance sensors, an Earpiece and the display looks amazing. Having that said, this smartphone has a dual camera module at the rear side and it has a 16 MP AI-powered sensor and a 2 MP depth sensing sensor. On the front, it has a 16 MP Selfie camera with AI beatify capabilities. The cameras are not that excellent and are just good to click.
To power this device there is a 3,500 mAh battery which the company claims that it can last up to one day with average to moderate usage. The device comes with Color OS 5.2 and has Android Oreo 8.1 on top of it. All the primary and required sensors are onboard along with a rear placed fingerprint scanner and AI Powered powerful Face Unlock technology. There is a triple slot which can accommodate two 4G sim cards(dual 4G Technology) and a micro SD card to increase the storage up to 256 GB.
These devices will go sale on October 11 via Flipkart.
Alongside Realme 2 Pro, the company also launched Realme C1 which is an entry-level smartphone to give head on competition to Redmi 6A. This device is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Soc paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 256 GB using a micro SD card. Camera section in this device has a rear placed dual camera setup consisting of 16 MP primary sensor and 2 MP secondary sensor along with a 5MP camera with AI face unlock support in the front. It runs on Color OS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Powering this device is a huge 4230 mAh battery. Priced at Rs.6,999 Realme C1 will be sold via Flipkart on October 11.
