Realme 2, the toned-down version of Realme 1.

After separating from Oppo, Realme launched their latest device, the Realme 2 here in India starting at Rs 8,990. The Realme 2 comes with a lot of toned-down specifications when compared to their previous device, the Realme 1. Seems like Realme choose the Xiaomi way as they’ve decided to launch it’s successor to the Realme 1 in the name of Realme 2 Pro rather than the Realme 2. Pretty similar to the strategy behind Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro right!

Realme 2 Specifications:

The Realme 2 sports a 6.20-inch (720p) 19:9 Notch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and a massive 4230mAh battery which of course is the main highlight of this smartphone. Talking about the notch, not everyone likes it and that’s a fact but the company thinks that the majority of us prefer notch over any other specification and even according to the survey conducted by Flipkart, the majority of people thinks that notch is a must-have feature.

The company even marketed it as a Notch centric phone rather showcasing specifications of this smartphone and they are even proud of calling it as the first smartphone under 10K to sport a Notch, what?

Under the hood, the RealMe 2 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Soc coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which goes up to 4GB and 64GB respectively. In terms of Optics, the Realme 2 comes with a 13MP+2MP dual rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.

Unlike the Realme 1, the Realme 2 comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and of course a Notch but still feels similar because of that cool diamondback design. Software end, It comes with ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1
