Oppo just added a pathbreaking smartphone to its popular Find series. Yes, the Oppo Find X has been officially launched today at their launch event in Louvre, Paris. The Oppo Find X comes with an astonishing 93.8% screen-to-body ratio which the highest till now on any smartphone. Previously, Vivo Nex used to have the highest screen to body ratio with 91.24%.
The Oppo Find X has a triple pop-up camera setup with 16+20MP on the back and 25MP on the front. Along with cameras it also has a bunch of other sensors for 3D facial recognition. All these were hidden inside a motorized unit. So, basically, all these were hidden inside your smartphone itself leaving you space for an amazing 6.4-inch O-LED display which has a freaking 93.8% screen-to-body ratio.

This smartphone doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor. However, Oppo claims that their facial recognition is far more secure than the fingerprint unlock with a failure rate of 1 in million. And if you are thinking about how that motorized unit works, it works as same as the single pop camera on the Vivo Nex. Basically, every time you are in need of those cameras and sensors, the motorized unit pops up automatically and Oppo claims that it is durable enough that it can withstand up to 5 years.
Talking about internals, It comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU along with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage and has a 3,730mAh battery. It even has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the front. Software side, The Oppo Find X comes with Android Oreo 8.1 with a Color Os 5.1 UI on top of it. and yes, it also supports fast charging as well via the USB-C port.
Partnering with Lamborghini, Oppo also launched a special edition device of Find X. Unlike the normal variant, this variant comes with more internal storage and sports a 3,400mah battery which supports SuperVOOC charging. Meaning, it completely charges your phone from 0-100 in just 35minutes.
Coming to pricing and availability, The Oppo Find X will be launched on July 12 here in India with a cost of around Rs 78,000 for the normal variant. coming to Lamborghini variant, it could cost around Rs.1,34,297 and of course, it’s not coming to India.
